Privacy Policy

Overview

Tikyani Apps LLC ("Tikyani Apps", "we", "us") is a software company registered in New Jersey, United States, at 971 US Highway 202N, Ste N, Branchburg, NJ 08876. We build and publish mobile and web apps.

This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and what your choices are. It covers our website and each of our apps. Each app has its own section, because each app collects different things. When we release a new app, it gets its own section here before launch.

The short version:

• We collect the minimum we need to run our products.
• We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show ads.
• Our website uses no analytics, no cookies, and no third-party scripts.
• You can delete your account and data yourself, from inside our apps, at any time.

Our website (tikyaniapp.com)

This website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts, and does not profile visitors.

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States). Like any hosting provider, Vercel receives the basic technical data your browser sends with every request — your IP address, browser type, and the page requested — and keeps it briefly in server logs used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this data to identify you.

WheyGPT (Protein Tracker) — iOS

WheyGPT is a camera-first protein tracker: you photograph your meal and the app estimates the protein on your plate. To do that, it handles the following data.

Account data

You can create an account with an email address and password, or with Sign in with Apple. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple shares your name and either your real email address or a private relay address — that choice is yours, made on Apple's sign-in screen. You can also set an optional display name.

Profile and health data

During onboarding and in normal use, the app asks for information used to calculate and track your protein target: height, weight and weight history, birth date, gender, activity level, fitness goal, daily protein and macro targets, streaks, and notification preferences.

You can optionally tell the app whether you take a GLP-1 medication (for example semaglutide or tirzepatide) and log related symptoms. This is health information. Providing it is your choice, it is used only to tailor your protein target and in-app guidance, and you can use the app without it.

Account and profile data is stored in our database, hosted by Supabase in the United States, keyed to a random user ID. Access is restricted so that each account can only read and write its own rows.

Meal photos and food logs

When you snap a meal, the photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, passed to our AI provider for analysis, and the nutrition estimate is returned to your device.We do not store your meal photos on our servers — they are processed to produce the estimate and are not kept.

Your day-to-day food log — the foods, amounts, and macros you record — is stored locally on your device, not on our servers.

AI processing

Photo analysis and in-app guidance are generated by large language models. Requests go from our server to OpenRouter, Inc. (United States), which routes them to the model provider — for example OpenAI or Meta models. A request contains only what is needed to answer: the photo or question, and relevant numbers such as your protein target, goal, and (if you provided it) medication status. We use these requests only to generate your response; we do not use them to train models.

Purchases

WheyGPT subscriptions are billed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see or store your card details. We receive your subscription status — tier, expiry, and whether it is active — so the app can unlock premium features.

Leaderboard (optional)

WheyGPT has an opt-in streak leaderboard. If you opt in, your display name and streak are visible to other users of the app. This is off until you turn it on, and you can opt out again at any time in the app's settings.

Diagnostics

We receive crash reports through Apple's standard developer crash reporting, which only applies if you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iOS settings. Crash data helps us fix bugs and is not used for anything else.

Deleting your WheyGPT account and data

To delete your account and data from inside the app:

1. Open WheyGPT and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap the gear icon in the top corner to open Settings.
3. Scroll to Danger Zone and tapDelete account.
4. Confirm twice — the app asks you to confirm, then asks once more.

This permanently deletes your account and the data tied to it from our systems. It is not a deactivation; the data is gone and we cannot restore it.

If you can no longer access the app, emailhello@tikyaniapp.com from the address on your account and we will verify the request and delete the account for you.

Two things deletion does not do: it does not cancel an active subscription (manage that in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions), and it does not erase records Apple keeps about your purchases, which are governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Future apps

Each app we publish gets its own section in this policy before it ships, describing exactly what that app collects and why. If a new app's practices differ from what is described here, its section will say so plainly.

Third-party processors

We use a small number of service providers to run our products. They process data on our instructions, for the purposes listed here, and have no right to use it for their own advertising.

Our services are operated from the United States. If you use them from outside the US, your data is processed in the US.

How long we keep data

• Account and profile data: for as long as your account exists. Deleting the account deletes it.
• Meal photos: not stored. They are processed for the estimate and discarded.
• Technical logs and rate-limit counters: short-lived and cleaned up automatically.

Why we are allowed to process this data

Where laws such as the EU and UK GDPR apply, our legal bases are:performing our contract with you (running the app you signed up for), legitimate interests (keeping the service secure and preventing abuse), and consent for optional data — in particular health details like GLP-1 medication status, and the leaderboard. You can withdraw consent at any time by removing the data in the app, opting out, or deleting your account.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including the EU/EEA, the UK, and a number of US states — you may have the right to:

• get a copy of the personal data we hold about you,
• correct data that is wrong,
• delete your data,
• object to or restrict certain processing, and
• complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, emailhello@tikyaniapp.com from the address on your account so we can verify it is you. We answer every request, and we will never treat you differently for making one.

Children's privacy

Our apps and website are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, emailhello@tikyaniapp.com and we will delete it.

Security

Data moves between your device and our servers over encrypted connections (TLS). Database access is restricted row by row, so an account can only reach its own data. API keys for our AI provider are held server-side and never ship inside the app. Payment card data never touches our systems — billing is handled entirely by Apple.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update it here and change the effective date at the top. If a change meaningfully affects how we handle your data, we will say so in the app or by email before it takes effect.
